Overall review: The postponed match of week 3 between Aston Villa and Liverpool on Thursday night was played. The postponement was due to the sudden death of the previous manager. The six matches of the 11th week played over the weekend were the final league matches of the year. The standing table is here. The top three teams won as expected, the middle-ranked teams lost, and the two six-pointer matches ended in draws. City have now won their 10 matches in a row. Liverpool’s winless streak has now reached 11 matches. It was an unfortunate schedule for Aston Villa and Liverpool, who had back-to-back matches with only two days in between. The matches of week 12 are scheduled for January 10th and 11th.
