Overall review: Kobe and Urawa won well at home, while Beleza suffered a painful away draw. The standings are starting to separate into the top three, the middle three, the bottom five, and the last place.
Match 1: Urawa hosted Sagamihara at Urawa Komaba Stadium and won 2-1. Despite the rain, the match, which drew a crowd of 1,571, saw Urawa dominate with shots. Sagamihara took the lead once, but Urawa managed to turn the game around in the first half.
Match 2: Omiya’s match against Beleza at NACK5 Stadium Omiya ended in a 2-2 draw. It was a close match with equal shots. Omiya took the lead early on and then Beleza turned the game around in the first half. Omiya tied the score in the 69th minute, ending their losing streak at two. It was a painful second consecutive draw for Beleza. A crowd of 1,692 fans braved the rain to attend this match as well.
Match 3: Osaka hosted Chiba in front of a crowd of 2,290 at Yodoko Sakura Stadium, winning 3-0. There wasn’t a big difference in the number of shots, but Osaka scored three goals efficiently. Osaka now has two straight wins while Chiba has two straight losses.
Match 4: Niigata defeated Saitama at Denka Big Swan Stadium with a 3-0 victory. Despite dominating the number of shots, Niigata was unable to break the 0-0 deadlock in the first half. Niigata responded to the cheers of the 7,311 fans by scoring three goals in the second half. Niigata ended their losing streak at two. Saitama suffered their third straight loss.
Match 5: In the match between Hiroshima and Nagano at EDION Peace Wing Hiroshima, Hiroshima held on to a one-goal lead scored in added time of the first half to win 1-0. Hiroshima also had more shots. The attendance was 3,625. Nagano suffered a disappointing fourth consecutive loss.
Match 6: Kobe won the match against Sendai at Noevir Stadium Kobe, 2-0. Kobe scored two goals in the first half and dominated the number of shots, resulting in a complete victory. The crowd was 2,250. Riko Yoshida, who scored the opening goal, now leads the race for top scorer with eight goals. Kobe won their third consecutive game. Sendai lost their first game in six games.
