In the Saitama Derby between Urawa and Saitama, Urawa won by a landslide 5-0. Saitama continues to struggle with a winless record. Will Hana Takahashi of Urawa end up as a center back? She seems to me more suited to forward, though…
The match between Omiya and Niigata was a heated one with even shots, but ended in a 0-0 draw.
The match between Nagano and Chiba was also a heated one with even shots, but ended in a 1-1 draw. Both scorers were from Kyushu.
The match between Sagamihara and Kobe was with even shots, but Kobe won by another landslide 1-5. Riko Yoshida of Kobe scored a hat trick. Mao Kubota, one of my favorites, scored her first league goal. Kobe maintains their lead in the standings with four consecutive wins.
The match between Osaka and Beleza ended in a close score 2-3. Although Beleza won, there seems much room to improve in their fragile defense.
