Overall review of .WE League Matchday 11: The top three teams are divided into two groups. Kobe and Urawa both won by 4-0 and accumulated points, but Beleza lost and disappointed. Saitama recorded their first win of the season.

Match 1: Sendai welcomed Beleza to a crowd of 1,424 at Yurtec Stadium Sendai, and came from behind to win 2-1. Despite being down in shots, Sendai scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute, earning their second win against the top three. Beleza, having issues with their defense, suffered a setback in the loss. Was Yuzuki Yamamoto’s absence a critical factor? Yuzuho Shiokoshi scored her seventh goal of the season, moving into ties for second place in the top scorer race.

Match 2: Chiba faced Hiroshima at Z.A. Oripuri Stadium (Ichihara City) and drew 0-0. Despite receiving nearly three times as many shots, their defense held up. Hiroshima had several shots that hit the goal frame, but failed to score.

Match 3: Niigata faced Kobe in front of a crowd of 1,081 at Denka Big Swan Stadium, but was defeated 0-4. They conceded four goals through Kobe’s nearly three times as many shots as they took. Riko Yoshida scored her ninth goal of the season, keeping her lead in the race for the top scorer.

Match 4: Urawa hosted Osaka in front of a crowd of 1,397 at Urawa Komaba Stadium, winning 4-0. They also had nearly twice as many shots. Miki Ito and Mei Shimada each scored one goal, putting them in second place in the top scorer race.

Match 5: Sagamihara hosted Omiya at Sagamihara Gion Stadium, losing 1-2. Sagamihara were behind in the 36th minute, but managed to tie the score in the 88th minute, but lost the winning goal in added time of the second half. It was a heated battle with equal shots.

Match 6: Nagano faced Saitama at Nagano U Stadium and lost 0-2. Although the number of shots was evenly matched, Saitama scored one goal in each half to claim their first win of the season.

The final matches of the Nadeshiko League Division 2 were held on Saturday, October 18th, and the final standings were determined. Ichihara’s victory and promotion to Division 1 were already decided in the previous matchday, but today’s results have moved Izumo to second place. Izumo will face Nippon Sport Science University, ranked 11th in Division 1, in relegation/promotion matches (home and away) on October 26th and November 2nd.

11th-place Nankatsu and 12th-place Imabari will also play relegation/promotion matches against Yamaguchi and Tsukuba, respectively, who advanced from the preliminary tournament. These matches will be held on October 25th, November 1st, and November 2nd.
