Overall review of the matchday: With first-place Kobe drawing, and second-place Urawa and third-place Beleza winning, their gap in points narrowed. The four mid-ranked teams drew and lost, widening the gap with the top three teams and narrowing the gap in points with the bottom three. I felt like the energy of teams not or less involved in the Nadeshiko matches or the Empress’s Cup was noticeable. Perhaps it’s because they’ve recovered more from the fatigue of consecutive matches over the hot summer? I hope the league’s start date will be reconsidered.

Match 1: The match between Sendai and Omiya, which welcomed a crowd of 2,332 at Yurtec Stadium Sendai, ended in a 0-0 draw, with both teams evenly matched in terms of shots.

Match 2: The match between Urawa and Niigata, which welcomed a crowd of 2,415 at Urawa Komaba Stadium, ended with a 3-1 victory for the home team. It was a well-deserved victory for Urawa, who dominated the number of shots.

Match 3: The match between Saitama and Chiba, which welcomed a crowd of 1,027 at Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park Athletics Stadium, ended with a 0-1 victory for Chiba, who held on to a goal they had scored in the eighth minute.

Match 4: The match between Nagano and Beleza, which welcomed a crowd of 2,895 fans to Nagano U Stadium, ended with a 2-3 victory for the away team. While Beleza’s dominance in terms of shots led to a well-deserved victory, Nagano’s spirited performance, coming back from 0-3 down in the first half to score two goals in the second half, also stood out. Congratulations to Beleza’s Hikaru Naomoto and Rikako Kobayashi for their return to the starting lineup and their goals.

Match 5: The match between Osaka and Kobe, which welcomed 4,257 fans to Yodoko Sakura Stadium, ended in a 2-2 draw. Kobe was unable to hold on to their two-goal lead, but we congratulate Akane Okuma, who was seriously injured in a national team match, for being on the bench and coming on as a substitute. Ayaka Michigami and Natsumi Tago scored two goals, respectively.

Match 6: The match between Hiroshima and Sagamihara, which was played at Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima in front of a crowd of 9,531, ended in a 0-3 victory for Sagamihara. Chinari Sasai scored one goal and one assist.
