Awards and ceremonies symbolizing the leagues of the 2025-2026 season are being held in various places, so I will introduce them here. Please forgive any omissions, as these are selections made on the basis of the blogger’s interests for the fact that football is a highly collective sport.
The blogger would like to emphasize that it is very gratifying that the Nadeshiko players who are active overseas are raising the reputation of Japanese women from the viewpoint of world standard.
[[ WE League 2025/26 Award ]]
1) Outstanding Yui Narumiya is extremely well-deserved MVP award.
2) This is the first time Beleza has received the Fair Play Award. Was it due to the new manager’s influence?
3) Natsumi Tago, born in 2006, is the Best Young Player of this season. A major leap forward in the WE league by an infant player grown up at Ehime of the Nadeshiko League.

1) Yuka Momiki won the Best Goal Award for April in WSL, the world’s top women’s football league.
2) Hinata Miyazawa came in second place for both the Best Goal Award and the Most Valuable Player Award, as chosen by the team’s fans.
3) Nineteen years old Mao Itamura won the Most Valuable Player Award in the Dutch league.
