wf106: Nadeshiko League 2026 Week 15

Ichihara, previously mired in a slump with zero points, finally secured their first point, and, surprisingly enough, the opponent for this was none other than the league leaders, Nagoya. This may well be the biggest surprise of the season so far. Courtesy from this site.
Nagoya dropped to second place, while Shizuoka took over the top spot; although tied on points, Shizuoka held the advantage on goal difference. Courtesy from this site.
Shizuoka’s Kumi Yokoyama set a new record for the most career goals in Nadeshiko League history, moving into first place on the all-time list. Just amazing. Courtesy from this site.
The highlight movie of Nadeshiko League week 15.

[[[[Foreword]]]]
The Nadeshiko League is set to hold its final matches before the upcoming summwer break.
At the same time, there have been some instances of players moving up from the Nadeshiko League to the professional WE League, and vice versa. This appears to be a moment that will put to the test the WE League teams’ ability to scout talent and the Nadeshiko League teams’ capacity to replenish their rosters.

Certain matches stand out due to the narrow gap in points between the teams. These include Iga (5) versus Miyazaki (3) and Setagaya (8) versus Seagulls (10). While the other matchups feature significant point disparities, one hopes to see the lower-ranked teams put up strong fights.
